Dr. Dorsha has worked as an attending physician in and around the Nashville Metropolitan area serving in the roles of the Emergency Department Assistant Medical Director and Medical Director. This was in addition to serving on multiple committees at various levels of hospital administration. Her career has taken her to very diverse areas including rural areas of TN and KY and busy metropolitan areas where she delivered expert and compassionate care to multi-ethnic communities with many language and socio-economic barriers.

​​​In 2018, Dr. Dorsha, a practicing Emergency Medicine Physician realized many patients coming to the ER
were frustrated that they had extremely long waits and were even more frustrated with the bill that was usually hundreds of dollars. She was concerned that many nights the ER was clogged with patients that could have had their condition treated from home using their cell phone, tablet or laptop by using telemedicine.
